“It is.”

“She’s coming back.”

“How do you know?”

The answer arrived through another camera.

At 5:18, movement appeared near the Blackridge service entrance on a camera Wade had installed years earlier facing the county road.

Vehicles.

Many.

Wade enlarged the image.

Blackridge patrol SUVs.

Maintenance trucks.

Landscaping vehicles.

Executive SUVs.

“What is she doing?”

Rebecca asked.

“I think phase two.”

Twenty-nine vehicles left Blackridge Estates.

Twelve patrol SUVs.

Seven maintenance pickups.

Five landscaping trucks.

Three technical vans.

Two executive vehicles.

Marissa led them.

Wade understood immediately.

His vehicle yard was empty.

Marissa intended to occupy it.

Temporary fencing.

Signs.

Perhaps grading markers.

Create the visual reality of control.

Then argue about legal authority after facts had changed on the ground.

Rebecca told him:

“Listen carefully. You do not block anyone in.”

“I know.”

“You do not disable their vehicles.”

“I know.”

“You do not tow anything until law enforcement confirms the complaint and local private-property towing requirements are satisfied.”

“I know.”

“There is a sign at your gate?”

“Posted three years.”

“Exact language?”

“Private property. Authorized vehicles only. Unauthorized vehicles subject to towing at owner’s expense.”

“Good.”

“Calvin?”

“Tell him to stage on public road until sheriff arrives.”

Wade called.

Calvin agreed.

Then Wade did something Marissa later interpreted as surrender.

He opened the gate.

Not because he was inviting them.

Because he did not want any future claim that vehicles were trapped by a gate Wade had closed after entry.

He stood inside the yard with his phone recording.

At 5:31, Marissa’s SUV crossed the property line.

Twenty-eight vehicles followed.

Workers entered carrying fence panels.

Posts.

Blackridge signs.

Survey paint.

Wade counted every plate.

Marissa stepped out.

Her expression was almost cheerful.

“You’ve finally decided to cooperate.”

“No.”

She opened a folder.

“This is an emergency access and remediation action.”

“Under what authority?”

“You have the paperwork.”

“Not valid paperwork.”

Marissa’s face tightened.

“You should speak with counsel before making accusations.”

“I already did.”

That gave her half a second of pause.

She recovered.

“Blackridge is exercising rights necessary to protect the community.”

“You have no rights on this parcel.”

“That issue has already been reviewed.”

“By who?”

“Our counsel.”

“Name?”

Marissa ignored him.

Workers began unloading barriers.

Wade raised his voice.

Not shouting.

Clear enough for cameras.

“Every Blackridge employee and contractor on this property is being instructed to stop work and leave immediately.”

Several workers stopped.

They looked toward Marissa.

She said:

“Continue.”

Wade repeated:

“You do not have permission to remain on this property. Remove all personnel and vehicles.”

Marissa turned toward him.

“No.”

The word was clean.

The cameras got it.

Wade asked:

“Are you refusing my direction as the property owner to leave?”

“Yes.”

She pointed toward the east side.

“Because this area is subject to association access rights.”

“Show me the recorded easement.”

“I’m not litigating property law with a tow-truck operator.”

Wade almost smiled.

He didn’t.

Instead:

“Your people have been told to leave.”
