“I'll grab one.”

Before he could return, the revolving door moved.

A man entered wearing a tailored camel coat.

Chloe transformed.

Her posture lifted.

Her smile appeared before he reached the desk.

“Mr. Christian.”

“Evening, Chloe.”

“Welcome back.”

The guest placed one leather overnight bag on the floor.

“Any chance my usual suite is available?”

“Yes, of course.”

Margaret turned her head slightly.

Christian smiled.

“You're a lifesaver.”

“I've already prepared it.”

“Wonderful.”

“Would you like someone to take your bag?”

“That would be great.”

Chloe signaled.

Another employee approached immediately.

Margaret stood.

The motion caused water from her coat hem to drip onto the marble.

Chloe saw it.

Her pleasant expression vanished.

Margaret walked back to the desk.

“Excuse me.”

Chloe sighed.

“Yes?”

“You just told me there were no rooms.”

“Oh.”

Chloe looked at the screen.

“Maybe something opened.”

“Within fifteen minutes?”

“Things change.”

“Mr. Christian said it was his usual suite.”

Chloe's jaw tightened.

“Is there something else?”

“Yes.”
