“Stone. Steel. Concrete.”
Victoria folded her arms.
“This is ridiculous.”
“Maybe.”
“You blocked the road.”
“I closed my entrance.”
“You cannot just eliminate access.”
“What access?”
“The neighborhood has used this road.”
“With permission?”
“For years.”
Garrett looked at her.
“Name three people.”
Victoria hesitated.
“People have.”
“Name one who had permanent permission.”
“This is absurd.”
“You keep saying that.”
Victoria walked closer to the gate.
“This road existed before you owned the current acreage.”
“My family owned it.”
“That doesn’t answer the question.”
“It does if you understand deeds.”
Victoria pointed toward the wall.
“You intentionally built this to interfere with community traffic.”
Garrett nodded.
“Yes.”
The admission surprised her.
He continued.
“Traffic that shouldn’t be here.”
“You can’t just—”
“I can protect my property boundary.”
“We’ll see.”
Garrett gestured toward a survey marker beside the gate.
“See that?”
Victoria looked.
Bright cap.
Survey number.
“The updated survey puts the boundary right there.”
He pointed farther outward.
